Crashes/Restarts/Fails to Load

When you have issues with D5 Render, such as crashes, out of video memory, restarting, fail to load, etc., you can try the following before reporting.

  • Check and upgrade the graphics card driver

Please upgrade the graphics card driver to the latest version and try again.

  • Run as Admin

When getting the notification of graphics card crash, please close D5 Render and try the following steps:

  1. Right-click on the “D5 Render” icon, and select “Run as admin”
  2. Close D5 after entering the welcome page
  3. Restart your PC
  4. Start and use D5

  • Other Softwares

Malware, firewalls, and anti-virus software can cause unpredictable issues, as well as pop-up blocks, ad blocks, screencasting software or screen extension software, and other software running at the same time.

Please try running D5 Render again after closing all software running in the background.

Usually, some users encounter issues caused by corrupted or incomplete download of D5 Render files.

  • Insufficient Host Power Supply Wattage

After replacing the graphics card, the original power wattage may not be sufficient to run the new graphics card, which may cause D5 to crash or the computer to restart after running for a period of time.

Please make sure the power supply wattage of the host computer is sufficient.

If the above solutions do not solve your issue, please report your bug to us.
