Updates to the D5 Render may include new GI, new features, new assets, etc. In general, we recommend that users use the latest version of the D5 Renderer. However, some users may have special cases that require them to use a version other than the latest one:

  • If you have an ongoing project, we suggest you continue to use the lower version and click “Cancel Update” when the update pop-up window appears.
  • If you have already updated but need to back to the lower version, please click the link below to download it.

Note:

  1. In general, if there is no upgrade in GI, D5 archive can be opened in different versions. If there are upgrades in GI, the effect of the archive saved in a higher version may be changed when it is opened in a lower version (you can backup the file and open it in a higher version).

  2. The workflow plugins also have their own versions compatible with the D5.

Recommendation：

  1. Users can install different versions of D5 and Workspace location under different paths to use multiple versions.

please can i get D5 Render 2.0?

May I know why you need D5 Render 2.0? Not only do we not have as many features as we do now, but we don’t maintain them anymore.

Good evening,

I need D5 Render 2.0 because that is the version my system can carry, my graphics card did not meet the requirements for D5 Render 2.3, but I’m sure version 2.0 will be compatible with my laptop. Please help me I’m really in need of it.

Hi there,

I appreciate your interest in using D5 Render but our minimum system requirements have remained consistent even with earlier software versions. Therefore, our suggested minimum GPU requirements start with (even with 2.0):

  • Nvidia GTX 1060
  • Intel Arc 3
  • AMD RX 6400

Hi there,

Unfortunately, I dont think your Graphics Card: Intel HD 4600 is a dedicated GPU but rather a built-in graphics on the processor and it is not suitable for recent or graphically demanding games or software. Hence, if your device only has this integrated GPU even installing the historical version will not help. Additionally, our minimum system requirement for Intel is: Intel Arc 3.
