When rendering 4k animation OR 8k panaramic, D5 Render crashes giving me a TDR error
I already updated everything and formatted. All my other software is working flawlessly BUT NOT D5 RENDER
I have also run it in administrator mode, opened D5 Render, Closing it, restarting PC. But not working. It is costing me valuable time and money at the moment. Clients are waiting and I cannot produce their renders for them. divan@vanrick.co.za
Rendering high-resolution images usually takes more resources. Could you show us the dedicated GPU memory value while rendering that panoramic? Excessive video memory usage can also cause the TDR error report.
Hi there. I tested it now - gave me the TDR error on 8%. See screenshot for my Dedicated GPU ram during the rendering. Still not working. 20gb vram is more than enough. My previous card was a 12gb and worked fine before the 2.9 version came out…
It looks like the VRAM value is already very high(95%). Was the exact same project file used in previous versions? Adding assets and models would both raise the VRAM.
Thanks for the reply - It happens with most of my projects. (created before 2.9) I will test it on laptop with smaller specs - that does run fine. This is a major issue.
This exact same project was working 100% with a 12gb card before 2.9.
