D5 doesnt want to render

Hi - Not sure what is the story with D5 - Cannot find any productive outcome with it. There is just something the entire time that keeps me from getting my work done in time.

A file that worked 100% mid December does now not even want to render a simple 4k still image… Please see video attached.

I dont know anymore - If it is not TDR issues then it is this. Cannot understand how D5 worked like a dream before 2.9. and how some users sit with these issues and others dont. My previous TDR issues are gone. But now i am sitting with this.

Rendering calculation - wait about about 2-3 minutes, then crashes and closes.

This file was made in 2.9. nothing earlier.

Graphics Card: AMD XFX 7900 xt (20gb vram)

I apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused.

  • Is this the same file that you were referring to in your Forum Post before? TDR Error! D5 Render crashes on new 2.9. Version
  • Does the crash and freezing only occur when rendering 4k Quality Images? How about for videos?
  • Is this issue only evident in this specific file? Can you please try to create an empty scene then render a 4k Image? and let me know if the issue persist even with empty files.
