First, we would like to say thank you to all friends here in D5 Forum, no matter whether you participated in the competition, clicked Likes for entries, or just viewed those beautiful works. It is you that make our first D5 RENDER Challenge so lively and successful
We are glad to tell you all that we have calculated the scores of all participants according to selection rules, and here is the final result.
The Best Original Award
After internal and professional judging, congratulations to jonathand(Cancer Caring Center, south of France) for winning the Best Original Award. You will get a perpetual Pro license, besides, you will also receive a special gift from D5 Team as a surprise.
This work is jonathand’s student project, with D5 Render 1.9 EDU. It is a cancer caring center which may not be landed, but its infrastructure design is really comprehensive and full of humanity and care.
Although this work may not have the best modeling and rendering skills, jonathand’s idea really moves our team. We are very glad to see more and more students apply for EDU licenses and try D5 Render, and they are trying to make their countries better, make the world better. This also matches our principle: to make the world a better place, to help as many people as we can.
Notice To winners of First Prizes, Second Prizes, and Best Original Prize, we will send private messages to you to collect scene files because we need to make sure the works are done by D5 Render, once it is OK, we will present prizes for you. Please send files before August, 19.
*The scene file is the whole folder that has the .drs file, please compress the folder before uploading, and you could send them to email@example.com
Besides, we will not use your works for other purposes without your agreement.
We hold D5 RENDER Challenge and get the final result, upholding the principle of openness and fairness. We are really sorry that some works are uploaded exceeding the event period, or only have 1 image, or not showing the model source, so they are not able to be among valid selected entries according to the rules.
We will make the processes and rules more mature and comprehensive for the next events.
Thank you all!
