Thank you for your prompt response. While I was looking at your reply, I was trying the following:
I completely uninstalled the Nvidia Quadro RTX 4000 driver and left it without any driver installed, neither from Windows or from Nvidia. When I tried to run D5 2.9, I was able to enter successfully without it crashing, and of course, I received the notice that the specifications are not sufficient to run the program.
The only thing I achieved as an “advance” is that when applying the fix that you suggested Anthony D5 it starts, it does not freeze, but it simply shows the following.
Thanks! Just for confirmation, Has System Info been showing ‘unknown graphics card’ since version 2.3? Have you ever used D5 properly before?
Please use the support tool to collect a log file and send it to me directly or to our mailbox (support@d5techs.com) You can refer to this post on how to collect logs: D5 Support Tool and attach a link to this post in the email.
Then, I’ll confirm with the team further and get back to you.
The main problem with D5 is that I can’t start any new version after 2.3. Every time I install a new version, the program starts for a second or two and automatically closes without letting me perform any operations. That photo that mentions that it does not recognize the GPU is from when I removed all the video drivers and started the latest version of D5, version 2.9. But of course, as the image indicates there, it does not allow me to continue working because I do not meet the minimum requirements.
I carried out many tests, 0 Windows installations, studio drivers and game ready, etc., etc. I even followed Anthony’s steps who suggested I remove some specific folders from the AppData and Roamming path on my system, then reinstall the version. Newer than D5, but the problem continues to this day.
In short, it is impossible for me to open any version other than 2.3
Hi, no, a few months ago I reset windows and after that this happened I guess, it was a newer d5 version back then, but now i can only acces 2.3, tried everything
