Urgent! Clicking on clip in video section causes crash!

I am working on a video sequence and after creating a couple of clips( around 10 of them) after a week now that I am adding new clips, when I click on old ones it immediately crashes !

The latest version is installed, and “NO” I would not reinstall the software; it is not an option now that I am on a deadline.
by the way, no overheating or over use for GPU and CPU was detected.

Hi there,

I apologize for the inconvenience. Were the old clips created in the same version as the one you are currently using? Just to be sure, can you send us the following images?

  • You may also send us your D5 Files so we can try to replicate the issue on our end and see if it is mainly caused by D5 Render itself or the PC Environment. Please send it to support@d5techs.com and have it titled ‘Clov-Forum: Clicking on a video clip causes crash’

Thank you.

For now, the problem is gone, it is weird.
Yes, all clips have been created in the same version.

Hi there,

The issue might be related to GPU usage or temperature at that time. I suggest running D5 Render by itself or only with the necessary applications for your workflow. Please let us know if the problem persists. It would also be helpful to open Task Manager > Performance while the issue is occurring to monitor system resources. Thank you.
