Hello, sorry for the inconvenience. Can you also send me the following screenshots?

Here it is

Hi thank you so much, can you also include this information?

There you go

Thank you so much. Based on the images you sent, especially the last image, the speed is 4800 Mhz or Mt/s. Anything higher than 4000 MHz can usually cause crashes and such. You could go to BIOS and turn off XMP to change the memory speed or try to update the BIOS version. You can refer to this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-MLhGMtheM

Let me know if this solves the issue~

It does not work, because I don’t even have that laptop you are showing.

Hi, sorry for this; as an alternative solution or method for it you may want to try either of the two or even both solution:

Hi All,

I have the exact same error.

d5 -01

Also an HP Victus Laptop…it might be a graphics card and laptop specific combination ?
Here’s to being hopeful that a patch is available.
I have re-installed with no success.

I found this solution working (Please check if the Intel card’s value fluctuates when opening D5; if so, that means the computer is running these integrated graphics. You may want your NVIDIA Graphics Card to work for D5 Render; you can disable the Intel GPU and switch it to the NVIDIA Graphics Card through Windows Device Manager.)

NOTE: It seems was the solution, but now I tried to work on it and did not, Now is extremly slow, a lot of delay on movements, if you apply a material takes years to load. It’s a headache totally waste of time. The D5 was running great for months in my PC I did not any problem with intel or nvidia, just my pc stock. Now I can’t work!!

I set everything on the HP Omen application as well as in Nvidia Global Settings / Program Settings to only use the Dedicated Graphics Card and disabled the Intel GPU. It now appears to work. I will run it for 24 Hours and provide feedback.

Hi, I apologize for the inconvenience. If the previous settings of your PC worked better than they do now (after the switching), it might be best to revert it back to its default. You may also want to try the reinstallation method that I mentioned and perhaps change the memory speed below 4000 MHz (best to contact HP on how to do it since it has a different interface). Nevertheless, I will be reporting this issue to my team considering that @rendimension @CurtisF both of you have the same device. Again, I apologize for this and thank you for your understanding.

The problem was I have installed D5 since february this year and I have been working with d5 without any problem and with my pc running over 4000 mhz. But last week not sure what you did with d5 update that is not working. Downgrade speed has no sense at all. Also some software like sketch up now does not work if I change the settings per your request. I need a more professional solution from your team, because it was working fine until 1 week ago.

I apologize for not being able to provide the exact solution for this. I might need to collect both of your log files. Please follow this link for an in-depth instruction: How to use Support Tool? | User Manual

May I also ask:

  • Was this error evident after a Windows Update? D5 Render Update? Driver Update? or did it occur suddenly?
  • What is the exact model of your device?

Again, I apologize for this, and rest assured we will conduct a thorough investigation through your collected log files.

Hi @clovisbolasco14 ,

It was after the latest window update as well as the latest Geforce Update.
I am not sure of the order.

After disabling my Intel Graphics and only running Nvidia my Runtime Environment no longer crashes and I am able to load D5 again. I cannot comment on Render performance as yet.

Thank you, @CurtisF, for updating us regarding your current situation on this issue. I am glad you were able to alleviate the issue. Do tell us if the problem persists. I am also awaiting @rendimension 's log files so we can investigate this issue further.

Thank you.
Did rendering yesterday and worked 100%.
It appears that going forward it may become nessescary to inform users that if D5 stops working to change from integrated graphics to dedicated graphics card as an additional solution to these problems.

Hi Everybody, I have laptop HP VIctus

zziplog.zip (636.6 KB)

I have the same issue, also it happened after update windows and my graphic card, some weeks ago it was working fine

Right now I can make it work if disabled the Shared Intel UHD Graphis and only left enabled the NVIDIA adapter

The issue is other applications like Scketchup won’t work with this configuration, so now I have to enable it or work on other applications and just diable it I want to work on D5

Is any solution for this? or any suggestiong

Hi, first of all, I would like to apologise for the inconvenience this issue has caused and thank you for providing your log files. I think you may be able to set-up an application which graphics card to use by:

  • Open Graphic Settings, you may search it directly at your windows search bar
  • Search for D5 Render or SketchUp
  • Click on it an you will see a drop down option where GPU Preference is evident.
  • Please choose High-performance

If you are unable to see SketchUp you might want to add it manually. Hope this helps~
