**D5 Render Version: 2.8.0.0469
**Graphics Card: RTX4090
**Driver Version: 561.09
**Issue Description:
The text can be unnatural because I used a translator.
I was working on Tag 1 and Tag 2.
Scene 1- Turn on tag 1 and turn off tag 2
Scene 2 - Turn on tag 2 and turn off tag 1
Livesync 1.2 version failed to retrieve the tag information stored in each scene when you changed the scene.
Therefore, after changing the scene, I had to turn off and on the Livesync button myself.
However, in Livesync 1.3 version, if you change the scene, the change in the tag will also take effect immediately.
So I started working on it thinking it was a great update.
After working on tag 1 for about 3 hours in scene 1, I changed it to scene 2 and worked on tag 2.
<<<<I went back to Scene 1 afterwards and found that all the material settings I worked on on D5 on Tag 1 were missing.>>>>>
I was really angry, but I couldn’t figure out the cause.
So I worked hard again on all the contents of Tag1 in Scene 1.
<<<<<After turning on Scene 2, all the material settings in Scene 2 are now gone!!!>>>>>
I have no choice but to go back to Livesync 1.2 and work on it.
I hope you do a bug fix!!!
Hi there, I’m so sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

May I know the SketchUp Version that you are currently running? There is a known issue regarding SU 2024 and the Livesync, please let me know, perhaps the solution could be helpful on your end.
-
Does this issue persist in other files, or is it only in this specific file?
-
When you synced your file, did something like this (screenshot) appear, and what options did you choose?
Again, I apologize for this, and I understand your frustration. Hoping for your update regarding this issue, I’ll be glad to assist you further. Thank you!
Were there any error prompts that appeared on your end? We are monitoring an error pop-up (loading failed) in SketchUp 2024 and the current live sync.
You might want to try this method and see if there’s any difference:
- Enter ‘%appdata%’ in the search bar to find the ‘su_to_d5render’ folder in ‘Sketchup-Plugins,’ and delete the folder to uninstall the plugin completely and then reinstall, then restart the PC to check the result.
There was no error message.
It’s just that all the material settings I set are gone.
Like the screen when I started D5 for the first time after finishing my sketchup work.
I’ve done what you said
The material setting I set in tag 1 was all gone when I went back after working on tag 2 for about two hours.
I’ve already lost at least 12 hours due to this error.
Hi there. Just to confirm, this is the version of the Livesync plugin that had the issues regarding the Tags, right?
Would it be possible to collect your SketchUp file to test it on our end and further diagnose this problem? You can send it to support@d5techs.com and have it titled ‘Clov - Forum.’ Please briefly describe your case or simply copy and paste your statement into this first post. Thank you so much!
Hi there. Thank you for sending your files. We have tried it on our end. Currently, D5 Render does not support creating variants with one model for now. Previously, you have stated that:
" However, in Livesync 1.3 version, if you change the scene, the change in the tag will also take effect immediately. So I started working on it thinking it was a great update. After working on tag 1 for about 3 hours in scene 1, I changed it to scene 2 and worked on tag 2. "
Does this action refer to changing scenes in D5 or SketchUp?
-
Since, upon testing the file you sent, changing the scene inside D5 from Scene 1 to Scene 2 does not change the material and would only follow how the first scene looked like.
-
But changing the scenes inside SketchUp (given that live sync is turned on) would also change the material in D5. It would retain the information despite resyncing, closing, and restarting the software.
If changing the scenes in D5 would also change the material (according to your SketchUp view), may we know how you did it? I can attach a video recording of the test if you allow otherwise, I will be messaging you~
Thank you so much~
