I currently experience D5 Crash, then I tried History Versions opening (it opened, yet after saving the back versions, ) it needs to re apply all materials.
But when I tried to even apply 1 material, it crashes again - I have a deadline 3 days from now. And this file is the master site (most important) of the project im working on.
I also have tried, run as admin, close and restart the pc - not working.
I have tried turning off all firewall / antivirus - still not working.
I apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused. Can you normally create new scene files or run D5 demo files? If the problem only exists with the current project or some of the scene files, it is likely that the file is too heavy and is taking up too much video memory, exceeding the load of your current device, and you need to lighten and optimize your file.
If the file fails to open, please delete the ‘f2’ folder under your WorkSpace path and then reopen the archive. Once it’s open, refrain from updating the assets until you have lightened your scene file by deleting some assets, including procedurally generated vines. This will help prevent it from crashing again due to excessive video memory usage.
Note: We are currently monitoring an issue where some old archives opened in version 2.9 experience excessive resource consumption and will be addressed in the next update.
Did you update your assets after opening it? Can you also try to revert your GPU Driver to 6636 or anything before 7216, since we were notified that 7216 is quite unstable and the fix will be released sooner.
Indeed, 720mb is not considered a heavy file for it to be causing a crash also considering you are using a 4080 GPU. Can you send us your project files? So we can also test it on our end. Please send it to support@d5techs.com and have it titled “Clov Forum - D5 Render Crashes at 5%”
We were able to open your .drs file but it seems that the 3d Model is missing, although the file appears in the object list, it has no data. Aside from that, opening the SKP File then proceeding to enable livesync and do some material modification seem to have no problem and is working fine.
We have forwarded your .drs file to our team and will be trying to recover it but considering that you are on a tight deadline it might be better create new D5 File. Nevertheless, we will be trying our best to speed up the process. Thank you for your understanding.
Actually D5 is no longer working with any of my models and cant produce any renders.
I have also uninstall reinstall it, but still works the same.
I will try to ask for extension on my deadline.
Hence, I would appreciate if any of you or your tech assistant to connect and maybe see the issues via anydesk or teamviewer?
Please let me know, I badly needed that software to work, I feel like I downgraded the quality of my work if its not D5 output.

Can you please try to replace your current 1.save file to this Unique Download Link | WeTransfer. We suspect it might be caused by the terrain and this might be a workaround considering that your team is on a tight deadline.
Additionally, have you tried using the previous 2.8 Version? If there are no specific features in 2.9.1 that you may need in your project it might be worth downloading and replacing the 2.9.1 Version with the previous one. [Update] The current workaround was to replace the current 1.save file with the one that I have provided and send it for c.alba to open. Currently, the issue is not evident and the file is working properly.
