D5 closes suddenly while saving my render file

**Graphics Card: Nvidia RTX 5070ti Laptop Gpu
**Driver Version: GeForce Game Ready Driver version: 595.97
**Issue Description: D5 closes when I try to save a project, whether new or old.

I apologize for the inconvenience. This is currently a known issue and will be fully fixed in the next version. For now, please try this workaround:

  • Renamed the local files in the D5 \framework\ folder (MSVCP140.dll & _1.dll) to .old.
  • Copied healthy versions from C:\Windows\System32.
  • Pasted them into the D5 \framework\ folder.
  • Result: Crash resolved immediately on all machines
