Good evening @ela I’m having problems with material picker, it doesn’t select the surface that I want to change it feels like it doesn’t read my model’s geometry because if I try to apply a spotlight it doesnt snap to the surface hope that you can help me! thank you!
Can you please send us a screenshot of your System Information?
We’ve confirmed a material picker issue with AMD GPUs, these are the following scenarios, and do confirm if you fall into either on of these:

For AMD 7000 series and AMD 9000 series 3.1 paired with the old driver version 2025.9.1, the color picker will fail to work. It is recommended that users install the latest driver to resolve this issue.

For AMD 5000 series and AMD 6000 series, the color picker fails to work when using version 3.1 with all AMD drivers. For now, rolling back to version 3.0 is the workaround.

I tried to download the 3.0 from the site you sent, and it says the file is not available on site
Im facing the very same issue, with d5 and sketchup, the material picker is not working like at all, yesterday was fine, but not today, absolutely nothing was done since yesterday we saved and closed. I cant even apply materials to nothing but to “default” color layer, im using AMD 5800xt, so the only “FIX” is to download 3gb of old software.

Downgraded to 3.0 from the link provided above and is now working smoothly. Will be in a wait to fix this please, thanks. Im using AMD Radeon RX 6800xt* not 5800, sapphire.
