D5 Render Version:2.8
Graphics Card:rtx3070 notebook
Driver Version: GeForce Game Ready Driver 566.03

When switching from the perspective window to any of the standard projections, an error occurs! The same error was in version 2.7, but you obviously did not fix it. Sometimes switching works, but there are problems with drawing the object in 3ds max. The object is highlighted in blue and forms a trail that fills the entire 3ds max window.

Hi there, I am so sorry for the inconvenience this issue has caused. I can’t seem to view the images that you have uploaded. Would you mind if you could reupload them so we can further assess the issue?

  • Also, does this problem persist in other files, or is it specific to this file only?
  • Are you using the D5 live sync plug-in or the D5 Sync? Which version?

Thank you.

Hello. I sent you all additional information about this error to your email. I also decided to install D5_Sync_3DsMax_usa_latest from your official website. After installation, I opened my scene in 3ds max and started synchronization. There was no synchronization process! In D5, there was no offer to create a new scene or synchronize with an already created scene! The object itself was created next to an existing object. I found out that during the synchronization process, the wrong insertion coordinate method was selected. Although initially I did not change it and it was left by default, although I may not remember. I do not understand why now D5 does not ask me about the synchronization process, but simply creates a new scene.

Hi there, sorry for this. Please correct me if I’m wrong on how I understood this situation, you have activated the D5 Livesync plug-in while the existing scene files (which was linked to d5 through direct import) are opened, resulting to “The object itself was created next to an existing object.”

  • I do suggest opening D5 Render with an empty file before activating D5 Livesync, this is to prevent duplication of such models.

As for the other issue that you have mentioned, regarding “The object is highlighted in blue and forms a trail that fills the entire 3ds max window.” is it still evident when you used the livesync or such? Nevertheless, I have forwarded this issue to my team. Thank you.

Updated information on the problem. Initially, I used life sync to export the scene, but the scene started to crash after I started working in one of the 3 ds max projection windows. When rotating an object in the 3 ds max perspective window, the object stopped rotating, a blue trail appeared filling the entire perspective window and 3 ds max closed with an error. I remembered that earlier, I installed a scientific plugin with manual view synchronization and such errors and a blue trail in the window did not occur. I also disabled view synchronization in the life sync plugin, there were no errors when rotating. I decided to install the regular synchronization plugin in 3 ds max, but when synchronizing a scene with an existing scene, d5 does not ask me whether I want to create a new scene or synchronize with an existing and configured scene! It just creates a duplicate of the scene with the converted materials! I deleted the synchronization plugin and reinstalled life sync. The synchronization process is now working. The problem of the perspective window in which a blue trail appears and 3ds max closes, I have been observing since the release of version 2.6, I thought that this problem was fixed, but this is not so. Downloading new video card drivers does not solve this problem. The whole problem is in life sync d5

Hi there, thank you for explaining your situation in a detailed manner. So currently you are using the latest version of the plug-in which is 1.2.0.0007 ? Yet a blue trail appears and 3dsmax closes. If you are currently using the latest version, can you send me your 3dsmax file so we may be able to provide you with a solution? You can send it to support@d5techs.com and have it titled Clov-Forum then briefly describe the situation. Thank you.
