2.9 - materials are missing randomly!

Somebody describe what is happening here!

the red cross in the image below used to have grass and lots of scatters and brushes on it.
The red cross on the right was some stone that worked a lot on the D5 material editor to get the required result, and now both are gone! I tried to apply the same material again, and it dropped a raw material with all my work gone!
The rest of the model is ok but these parts are missing!
I have a deadline in 48 hours and lots of tasks to do, so I cannot handle this behavior with D5 !!

I need urgent help
It is not working this way.
Thanks

so weird
every material in the exterior is gone! I am completely doing it from scratch! all the red crosses material are gone and are like this tiny gray rectangles, I am redoing it all as you can see
scatters are in place.

I haven’t done anything odd, I was doing my random daily editting.

Same happaned to me. Any solution yet?

Hello @nima.mousavi9 @elgazija

Sorry for this issue.
Are you importing the model into D5 directly or using the LiveSync plug-in?

Just for confirmation, did you ever change the name or storage path on PC of your model file?
Did you change the names of the materials in your modelling software and sync it into D5 again?

Looking forward to your replies.

I always use D5 livesync.
No, I did not do any of the above, I am very peaky when working on a large project and always try not to do anything out of line.
I do not change the name of any material. Right now I did all the materials again but I have to fine the problem so it does not happen again.

Thanks!

Thank you for the updates.

Are your model files and D5 archives stored locally? Or are they in a network/cloud path?
Have you ever replaced the model? Can you describe in more detail the steps to reproduce the problem? Suddenly happened during the editing process?

Thanks!

Hello,

I have been a user of D5 since version 1.6 and have always used the same workflow without any issues. However, since the update to version 2.9, I have encountered a problem with PRO materials. When I open my file for the second time, the PRO materials disappear. This does not happen with my own materials or free materials.

The model and the linked file are stored on Dropbox and I always after every saving try to wait until it is uploaded completely.
I have never replaced any file (I had a bad experience moving or touching any D5 files and links).

If I remember correctly, it happened after reponing the D5. Since the file and model are heavy I will close and save both SketchUp and D5 randomly or after sudden crashes to start fresh.

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

Does this issue occur in all scene files including new files and D5 demo files? Are you using a company network? Do you have any encryption or antivirus software enabled?

I haven’t tried any other file since I have no time and it did not happen immediately, I was working on the model for 10 days!

And it did not happen after that(maybe once since).
I am using a home network/radio and my antivirus is on as always (Eset)

Got it. Thank u! Take your time, if you reproduce this issue again, please let me know.

Hi, @nima.mousavi9

Thank you!
So the problem could have happened after the program crashed and it was occasional right? It could possibly be related to the instability of the network path storage.
If you are still able to reproduce this issue now, please do let me know.

D5 Team

Well only the Sketchup will crash, I experienced D5 crash only once and it was a while after the issue so not related o it(GPU memory issue)

Anyway, I hope it does not happen again but it was a serious one since I have not changed anything in my workflow for a while and did not expect such an issue.

Hello @nima.mousavi9

We usually recommend storing all D5-related files locally as the network path may be unstable. Please let us know if the problem reoccurs.
