Hello, I currently have version 2.3 and I have some projects started. Is there a problem if I update now to version 2.4? Will I be able to continue working on those projects? Or will they give an error?

Hello, it will work of course, but , according to me, since I know from my previous tests this morning You will find some diferences in the render. You can consider it as optimisations but sometimes it is not what you were expectin if the scene was done in 2.3…as far as I tested it.
I have projects in progress but due to the improvements that version 2.4 supposes I have decided to update. In my case I am noticing excessive lighting and I have had to adjust some parameters but nothing really drastic. I hope my experience will serve you.
Hi mate, some parameters and settings may need to be modified after upgrading to 2.4, therefore, it is recommended to finish your current work in 2.3, or at least make a back up then use 2.4.
But 2.4 should open files created in previous versions with no problem.
