I am attaching a 16K VR Link made in Spatial Tour in D5. This is a Interior Apartment with 4 Rooms. When i view the VR Link in my PC’s Google Chrome, it looks fine. There is no scaling issues. But when i see this in my Meta Quest 3, i am facing some scaling problems. When i am viewing in my Headset it looks like i am floating in a space with a ultrawide POV and the full room looks huge and enormous. I tried different units (mm,cm & m), nothing fixed. I tried different camera lens (15mm & 35mm). Nothing works. I modeled and placed all the props in 3dsMax 2022 and imported in D5. Is there any solution for this scaling issues for viewing in VR in Meta Quest 3.
Hi @ar4mail
Can you please confirm for us which version of D5 was used here? The 3.1 update should have improved some scaling issues ![]()
Hi
I am using D5 Version 3.1.1.0758.
Hi @ar4mail
And the Spatial Tour was also made in the same D5 version, correct?
If that’s the case, can you please send us your log files too?
Hi @ar4mail
Before anything else, since Spatial Tours does not support Stereoscopic Panorama, have you tried rendering a Panorama for the Panorama Tour Project instead of a Virtual Tour?
I stand corrected; in 3.1, Panorama received a significant improvement, since it now support Stereoscopic Panorama.
- Compared to standard panoramas, Stereoscopic Panoramas provide a more pronounced sense of spatial depth and room scale. When viewed through a VR headset, they deliver a more immersive spatial experience.
It suits interior design showcases that give clients a VR experience, model-home walkthroughs for property marketing, and remote reviews where you share a Stereoscopic Panorama online.
Hi
I tried making a Panorama Tour. I am facing the same issue while viewing in my VR Headset. In the browser it looks fine, but when i see in my VR Headset it looks out of scale. I am attaching the Panorama Tour Link for Reference.
Hi @ar4mail
Alright, thanks for the confirmation. We’ll check into your logs and the link that you have sent.
I hope i get a solution for this. Thank you for your response.
