Video animation Bug after update

After i have updated D5 render to the latest version i can’t animate videos anymore. When i press the “play” it plays a still image and switch to another still image. It doesn’t create an animation properly like in the previous versions. I already uninstalled d5 render and download again. Didn twork for me. I’d like to report this “bug” and would like to know how could i solve this problem if possible.

Hi mate, these two shots are separated, please notice the difference, as can be seen from the following 2 pictures, the blue one is the right one to edit the cameras in 1 video.

Hi mate, i didn’t understand! after the update everything have gotten a little bit difficult, before we just placed one shot and another shot in a different position and the software did and animation automatically. Do you know if there are some video creation tutorial for this version? i think i need to learn how to create a video because the layout are different and i am confused. I didnt understand your point to create a shot in the same group as you did. When i click to create a shot from the current viewport it just put them separately. I don’t understand, how you did that?

Hi mate, Our creative department are making the viedo tutorials like camera, section, D5 Studio now, please stay tunned.

hello, has this been resolved? I’m having the exact same issue after updating to the latest version of D5 2.5 and I can’t animate my videos anymore. It just keeps stitching still shots as compared to before the update where it seamlessly combines all scenes.

Hi there. I apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused.

  • Why did you opt to use the 2.5 version instead of 2.9 or 2.8? If you can update to 2.8 or even 2.9, I suggest doing so since there may be bugs from 2.5 that were already fixed in the earlier versions. If this persists even after updating, please let us know.

  • Did you perhaps change the shot’s perspective from 2 point perspective to perspective or vice-versa?

Thank you.

hello, thank you for your reply! Apologies, I just checked and my update is 2.9 already- and you’re right it was the shot being at perspective. it became smooth again after switching it back to 2 point perspective.

thank you for this, I can now make my animations again

Hi there, thanks for confirming. Currently, there is an issue when you record an animation/shot. The camera stands or idles if you originally did them as perspective and then changed them to two-point. I suggest avoiding such action since we are still working on fixing this. Thank you.
