Users who have AMD video cards

According to what I read in the D5 Render specifications, the program uses “DXR and ray-tracing technology” as an engine.

https://www.d5render.com/post/system-requirements-for-d5-render

This render engine is owned by Microsoft and is supported by video cards through their drivers.
This will assume that AMD video cards support the use of DXR and their drivers are compatible with that technology.

https://www.amd.com/en/products/graphics/ecosystems/directx12.html

But on the other hand, they explain that AMD video cards are compatible through Intel’s XeSS.

Is D5 Render really compatible with AMD video cards or not?
I found the XeSS technology DLL in the D5 Render folders, version 1.2… so is there compatibility through Intel’s XeSS?

Will it be possible to have better compatibility with AMD video cards?

Hi @germanvallverdu I have conveyed these queries to one of our experts and have said this:

  1. As for the first question, yes, D5 Render is compatible with AMD GPU, and in the development and testing stage, we will check whether features can be used with AMD GPU.

  2. The XeSS tech is open-source and we did a lot of tests before integrating it into D5 Render for AMD/Intel GPU. It affects the preview mode and video rendering, and we can turn it on/off here:

We are committed to enhancing the stability and compatibility with each update. We have been conducting tests using AMD GPUs (RADEON RX 6000 and 7000 series) with various drivers and are still trying to help solve the crash issue. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
