Unable to run D5 Launcher

Issue Description: I was able to install the Revit plug in, but unable to install the launcher for the main program. I have tried updating to the latest windows 11 24H2, reinstall, and removed files from the %AppData%, but I still get the same error.

is there instructions how to do a clean uninstall? or is my laptop not compatible? Thanks

I’m sure your laptop is compatible.

  • Were you able to uninstall the launcher via Control Panel?
  • Can you check if Launcher is running in your Tray Icon?

  • Try to install the launcher on a different path, then see if the issue persists.

I am not able to uninstall the launcher via Control Panel because it doesn’t exist.
There are no D5 launcher running in the tray icon.

I am unable to select the install path. As soon as I double click or run it as admin, this error message pops up.

is there a error logged some where in this laptop that I could share?
