The reload button responds when I click on it, but does not update. So I decide to rename the .SKP model of my scene with a different name, then click on “replace” and that doesn’t update the changes either. Nothing is happening. I restarted my computer and the problem persists.
And the d5 and sketchup live sync also doesn’t work when I update the changes from the plugin. The problem persists even if sketchup is closed
I found the source of the problem … I am using sketchup 2021 and D5 is not optimized for this version. I exported my model from Sketchup 2019 version and everything works fine when I click reload/replace. For the d5 live synch plugin for Sketchup, I will have to wait for your compatibility update with version 2021 …
For now, D5 Converter for Sketchup is compatible with SU 2021. Please download from the link below and try again with the plugin. Let me know if the issue still exists.
I misspoke, the plugin ‘‘D5 Converter for Sketchup’’ works with sketchup 2021, but when I update my model through the plugin (after modifications of my Sketchup 2021 scene) nothing happens. I have to export in Sketchup 2019 option to update from D5 itself (replace button, or reload). Two other people from the “Sketchup France” group have exactly the same problem as me.
Thank you for the feedback.
We’ve made some optimization in the new version 180, which will be released in the next month. Please try again then!
Meanwhile, could you send the skp file(the one with su 2021) to support@d5techs.com , we’d like to test it with the new version on our computer, to see if it’s fixed already.
