The application logs out of my account every 10 minutes

D5 Render Version: 2.0.5.0320
Graphics Card: 3080ti
Driver Version: 496.13
Issue Description: The application logs out of my account every 10 minutes
Screenshots/Videos Description: Hi. such a problem:
after updating to 2.0.5.0320, the application asks to log in every 10-15 minutes. I log in, open the library, there is nothing for 5 minutes, 3d models (their previews) take a long time to load. Models appear, I try to put something in the scene and the application tells me that for this I need to buy a subscription or enter the account. All models disappear again. I log into the account again and again I wait for the models to appear and again after a few minutes the application asks me to log into the account …

Steps to Reproduce (optional):

Hi artikd, sorry for the inconvenience. :bowing_woman: Please try reinstalling from https://www.d5render.com/ and see if it helps.

Hi. I had reinstalled it before, but the problem did not go away.

What I’ve done:

  • Updated windows.
  • Reinstalled the application again.
  • Added his folder to the antivirus exception.
  • Allowed the program to exchange data in the firewall.

what has changed:
Now I cannot log in.
I log in at startup. I load the scene, there I need to log in again and I can’t do this anymore … (or with a very long delay, about 10 minutes), but when I try to use something from the library, the loading process is again very long and the application is asked again log in …

essentially the same situation as before …

By the way, if you go to the site to remind the password, (although I go to the site without any problems), it displays the following messages:

I haven’t succeeded yet …

I think the problem is with the network connection.

I have a connection structure like this:
Internet - router - switch (for 1GB local network) - workstation.

I reset the router settings to default.
I found a proxy in the Windows settings and disabled them.
Vpn in Windows and a router did not work.

I tried to connect a workstation to a router, without a switch, but it did not give any results. I cannot connect a workstation directly to an Internet cable without a router. (if there is a problem in the router, maybe you can tell me the working network settings for it, since I have no experience in this)

The situation now looks like this:
I can log into my account with a long delay, but there are no models. Then the application is asked to log in again …
I can use only free models and then with a significant delay in loading …

It is quite important for me to resolve this issue, since now I have 3 commercial projects in 5D …

Hello again!

The problem has not been resolved, but I think I understood what the problem is.

I didn’t have a VPN but I decided to install it.
I am located in Europe (Ukraine). I connected to a server in the Netherlands and I couldn’t log into my account even, I was told that the password was incorrect.
Then I connected to a server in Japan. And it all worked! the library of models was displayed, loaded, and worked!

This did not solve the problem, but the program began to work at least through VPN.

It seems to be a problem connecting to your European servers …

Hi artikd, sorry for the late reply, yes we believe it’s due to network connectrion, and you might need VPN for the time being. :bowing_woman: European servers will be improved in the future, it is planned and we are working on that. Thank you for your information, we have recorded this and hopefully problems concerning this issue can be solved. Feel free to let us know if you need further help with D5.

Hi artikd,
Sorry to hear that you ran into that problem, and thanks for the efforts you paid.
As you mentioned, it sounds like a network issue. I also heard other users from Ukraine that they need VPN to connect to our server.
Could you please help us test the network? we will optimize the server in the future.
The steps are on the Readme.txt

Best regards,
Oliver

Hello. Thank you for your interest in this issue. I want to inform you that this problem disappeared yesterday. The network started working normally and the VPN’s help was not needed.

I’ll send the connection test anyway.
