I would like to report a technical issue I’m experiencing while using D5 Render version 2.10.1.0579 (released on March 19, 2025) on a system equipped with the Intel ARC B580 graphics card. One of the main concerns is that several important features are currently unavailable or locked, including:
-Frame Generation
-FPS Booster for Complex Geometry
In addition, the Intel ARC B580 is not being correctly recognized by the software during the system requirement check, and is displayed as an “Unknown Graphic Card”, which I suspect is the reason for the restricted functionality.
System Information:
-Graphics Card: Intel ARC B580
-Latest Intel Driver Version: 32.0.101.6881
-D5 Render Version: 2.10.1.0579 (Release Date: March 19, 2025)
-Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro (64-bit), Version (Build) 24H2 (10.0.26100)
Technical Questions for D5 Render Support:
Is the Intel ARC B580 officially supported in the current version of D5 Render?
If not, are there any plans to include support for this GPU in an upcoming update?
What causes features such as Frame Generation and FPS Booster for Complex Geometry to be unavailable when using this graphics card?
Are there any manual configurations or specific settings that can be adjusted to enable these features?
Does the “Unknown Graphic Card” status directly affect the availability or functionality of certain features in D5 Render?
Is there a specific Intel driver version known to be compatible with D5 Render that could potentially resolve this issue?
Does D5 Render rely on GPU architecture-based detection (e.g., NVIDIA RTX or AMD RDNA) that might limit certain features to specific brands or architectures?
If support for the Intel ARC B580 is currently in development, is there an estimated timeframe for its release?
I truly appreciate your attention and assistance regarding this matter. I sincerely hope this issue can be addressed soon so that Intel ARC B580 users can enjoy the full functionality and best possible experience when using a professional application like D5 Render.
If I am not mistaken, Intel Arc B580 is better and higher than our minimum requirements for Intel GPU, which is Intel Arc 3. Hence, it should be able to run D5 Render unless there are some issue which has yet to be reported, considering that there are fewer users who are using Intel GPUs.
Usually, when the GPU is greyed out despite being able to support D5 Render, the driver is usually at fault in most cases. It might be best for you to revert to a more stable version of your driver and see if it resolves the issue.
This is the results from our User-Self Test Data, users are able to utilize Intel Arc B580 with D5 Render with these corresponding drivers. D5 Benchmark Test Results

D5 Render works better with an RTX GPU compared to an AMD GPU (AMD compatibility enhancement is also in progress); hence, some of the features, such as Super Sampling, FPS Booster, etc., may only be available to these brands or models.
Technical Support Follow-Up – Inquiry About Intel ARC B580 Development Status
Dear D5 Render Support Team,
Thank you for your previous response and clarification regarding hardware compatibility especially your note that D5 Render currently performs better with RTX GPUs compared to AMD, and that enhanced AMD compatibility is still under development.
First, I would like to respond to the final point you mentioned:
“D5 Render works better with RTX GPUs than with AMD GPUs (AMD compatibility improvement is in progress); therefore, some features, such as Super Sampling, FPS Booster, etc., may only be available to those brands or models.”
This is very helpful information, and I truly appreciate your transparency regarding the current optimization focus.
In relation to this, I would like to inquire further about the status of the Intel ARC B580 GPU.
Could you kindly confirm whether support for Intel ARC B580 is currently under evaluation or included in the development pipeline for future compatibility?
As Intel ARC GPUs are gradually gaining adoption in the creative and professional space, I believe that official support and optimized performance for this GPU line would benefit a growing number of D5 Render users.
I would sincerely appreciate it if the D5 Render team could clarify whether the Intel ARC B580 is part of your internal roadmap or GPU support pipeline.
Thank you again for your continued support and commitment to delivering the best experience possible across a wide range of hardware configurations.
Just to clarify, Intel ARC B580 is supported and is being used by several D5 Users. I’m not sure what you meant by inquiring about the status of the Intel Arc B580 GPU, whether it’s under evaluation or not. Can you perhaps elaborate further?
You might want to point out features that an Intel GPU offers that is currently not visible in D5 Render.
What issues are you currently experiencing aside from the one that you have mentioned?
