Does D5 Render 3.1.x provide a supported external API, Python API, WebSocket API, or automation interface that allows an external application to continuously set the Geo & Sky Date/Time value? I need to synchronize D5 Geo & Sky with the Windows system clock every minute based on the project’s latitude/longitude.

Unfortunately, D5 Render does not currently provide a public external API, Python API, WebSocket API, or documented automation interface for programmatically controlling Geo & Sky date/time or other scene parameters.
At present, the available method for externally controlling D5’s Geo & Sky settings is through the SketchUp LiveSync plugin, where D5 automatically reads the time, date, latitude, and longitude from SketchUp’s Shadow Settings. SketchUp 2025 and later also support bidirectional environment synchronization.
