It changes direction when i change the camera angle. It also reflects on the ceiling. I have tried changing glass material and window frame material. Help would be appreciated! Thank you

Hi @martijn

Can you send us a video recording? And this specific file, so we can test it?

You may send it to support@d5techs.com and have it titled Clov-Forum Strange reflections behind glass (not shadow)

Let me know if you have sent it already

Hello Clov,

I have send the requested files and specific video recording.

Thank you!

Hello Clov,

This issue disappeared immediatly when i checked off the ‘Thickness’ box in the glass materials properties. As i am new to D5 and a long time Lumion user i might have run into a D5 beginners mistake. Sorry for that.

Thank you,
Martijn

Hi @martijn

No worries, we can still test the file, just to be sure. Thank you for your updates.

Hi @martijn

How is this specific glass panel modeled on your end? Any polygon or another surface present inside? It seems like it stems on how it was modeled.

Hello @Clov

Thank you for looking into the matter.

The glass is a single flat plane in SketchUp. I also replaced it in the proces of troubleshooting myself earlier. It still persisted after that. Also tried to open a clean D5 file and imported the model, same issue.

Hi @martijn

Can you separate these windows and save them in another SKP File, then send it to me?
