I keep having to reverse faces on many sketchup surfaces because the side that is showing in sketchup is showing the opposite side in D5, help!
Hi there,
You might want to check out this free SketchUp Plug-in that is being recommended in this video. This will help ensure that the correct faces are used in your model, then after, try to sync it with D5 Render. Let me know, if this helps. Thank you.

fixing the reverse faces from sketchup file is not the real problem, the problem is why d5 only show the front face. i have a big urban file with ton of reverse faces and fixing those faces would take my whole day. Other render platform does not got this problem including Lumion.
Apologies for the inconvenience @vuhungkt99,
We’ll consider optimising the workflow in future releases but for now, we recommend reversing the faces in your modelling software. Thank you.
Seconded here. This really impedes our workflow and the viability of d5 as our primary renderer in our office.
Thanks!
Any updates on this? Agree with other folks that this is a reoccurring
issue in our workflow.
No updates regarding this requirement. I also suggest creating a similar topic in the Ideas & Requests category, just to raise the urgency of this concern, so that other users can vote for such requests.
