Save image as JPG file with Vers. 2.71:
Hello together

I would like to use the latest version 2.71 to save the generated image as a JPG file. I can’t find the selection anywhere. Is this still possible?

Hi here, you need to turn on the Advanced Image Rendering in Widget. After switching this widget, you can select .png .jpg .tga .tif .exr in the Format option, when rendering images. Hope it helps.

hi, there is no .jpg format save in d5, as far i know. i’ll recommend using .png for saving render, reason JPGs use lossy compression, which reduces file size by deleting some data, while PNGs use lossless compression, which maintains image quality. This means that PNGs usually have larger file sizes than JPGs.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback. You can turn on the Advanced Image Rendering Widget and then you can select the format you want ( .png .jpg .tga .tif .exr in the Format option ).
