Please send the file that is experiencing the issue. You may refer to my replies above. The one you have sent before has a missing .drs file, hence I recommend zipping the File folder as indicated in the image above.
Based on the images you previously sent, it is likely that the file you’re working on is quite heavy. Given that your GPU has only 8GB of VRAM, crashing is expected as the scene’s memory consumption is likely exceeding your hardware’s capacity.
The best way to prevent and avoid crashing is to:
- Optimize your file by deleting some vegetation assets, scatters, etc. that are not necessarily seen in your scenes.
- Disable Path Tracing
- Enabled Smooth Mode
- Ensure that D5 is the only one opened while you’re working on it.
Thanks for the reply, Clov, but video rendering works fine, but only image rendering crashes. I don’t think it’s a scene complexity issue.
