Program Startup Failed – System Environment Error on Acer Nitro V15

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060
Driver Version: 576.52 (Latest Game Ready Driver, May 2025)

Issue Description:
D5 Render fails to start and shows this error every time:
“Program Startup Failed – System Environment Error”

I have tried the following:

  • Clean uninstall and reinstall of D5 in a custom directory (D:\D5Render)
  • Updated GPU drivers manually from NVIDIA’s website
  • Ran system repair commands: DISM /Restorehealth and sfc /scannow
  • Set NVIDIA GPU as default using both Windows settings and NVIDIA Control Panel
  • BIOS settings checked: No Turbo Boost, No XMP, No overclocking
  • Disabled integrated GPU and ensured RTX 4060 is in use

Screenshots/Videos Description:
I can provide screenshots of the error message and all steps followed, including driver version and BIOS config, upon request.

Steps to Reproduce (optional):

  1. Install latest D5 Render (v2.10.2)
  2. Run the software on my Acer Nitro V15
  3. Observe the startup error before program loads

System Specs:

  • Laptop: Acer Nitro V15
  • CPU: Intel Core i7
  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4060
  • OS: Windows 11 64-bit
  • RAM: 16GB
  • D5 Render Version: 2.10.2
  • No log files are generated in AppData\Local\D5Render\logs

Please help resolve this issue as soon as possible.
Thank you!

Hi @nofalabood020

Thanks for the detailed description.

  • Just to double check, try to access Nitrosense and turn the settings to Maximum then Equilibrium
  • Drivers 576.02 and beyond including 576.52 may have some issues with D5 Render (currently being repaired) please try to revert back to a previous version. I suggest doing a Clean Reinstallation with driver version 572.47
