Steps to Reproduce (optional):
some of the model (d5 original from the outdoor equipment category) turn completely white (for example hopper 01). the preview show the object with the right material, but when imported in the model is still white. how i fix it? if i open a new project the material appear wright, so I suppose the problem is with the specific file I was working on.
Hi there; I apologize for the inconvenience. This issue may be caused by:
Renaming or Transferring the file to a location other than its original directory. I suggest renaming it back to its original name and location.
This particular project file was opened through Cloud Storage (Google Drive, Onedrive, etc.) - I suggest downloading the scene files and storing them in your local storage (C/D Driver), then trying to open it.
Hi Kalipestudio, I am having the same issue with Dropbox. Can you advise how did you solved it? My dropbox is fully synchronised but items are still showing white. What did you mean by âtransfered on localâ?
Thanks!
By âtransferred locally,â it means copying your entire project folder, including all subfolders (textures, assets, references), directly to a local drive on your computer (for example, C:\Projects\YourProject), instead of keeping it in Dropbox.
D5 Render relies on exact local file paths, and cloud-synced folders can break these paths or delay access, causing white placeholders. After moving the project locally, open it from that location and all assets should load correctly.
