Issue Description: Preview diffrent from render
Screenshots/Videos Description: RENDER-VS-PREVIEW — ImgBB RENDER LEFT PREVIEW RIGHT
Steps to Reproduce (optional): i don’t know
In my D5 project, the preview looks way better then the actual render.
It seems like the render doesn’t include the sun setting?
Can you post images of before and after?
Hello, is the auto-exposure turned on? Please turn it off then adjust the exposure parameter.
Second, please select the material of the house and check whether this option is turned on:
Please also do not select this option.
Feel free to reply to us here if the problem remains.
Thanks for your response! I will test it later today.
I don’t think it’s the material of the house, because the sun is missing in the grass… and there is sun on the house
That makes me think that the rendered image has a diffrent sun setting than the preview. Maybe a bug?
Hello, it can be a bug, but we may need you to check the setting of the scene first, because we had not seen this problem before if it is related to the sun. We will follow up with this problem here, thanks for your patience!
As you can see, auto exposure is turned off.
The above image shows that there is no option for ‘invisible in raytracing’ because i use the displacement template. Still the same problem.
Hello, could you please send this scene file to support@d5techs.com? We may need to open the scene to repro this issue.
Hi, i send the files.
Did you get them?
Hello Johvannibuising, yes, now we find the issue cause of the problem you met.
It is because there are some plants behind the camera which also blocks the sunlight, in the preview mode, the shadow of plants is simplified so the sunlight is not blocked, but in the final render, they are calculated accurately and therefore the sunlight is blocked.
For details, please check your private message because we cannot share screenshots of your project, thank you for your patience!
