Plug-in for AutoCAD

Will there be a D5 Render plug-in for AutoCAD in the future? I use AutoCAD Architecture a lot and would certainly like to be able to have D5 on there, and I’m sure there are more AutoCAD users who would too.

inconvenience.

Plug-in for AutoCAD plaseeeee :frowning:

It’s still planned, sorry for the inconvenience. can you tell me the specific situation you use this workflow? we want to know more about your request, thanks!

Hi, For many Architects collegue and for me, the actually NOT “dwg file support” or ACAD plug-in its the reason for not completily migrate from the competition to D5 render. We have probe that its better in many ways. BUT, its a messy workflow have to intermediate into SkUp and then go to D5.
So please add compatibility with dwg files. If its booked to be added in short term please let us know.

@juanesmascietti Hi thanks for the info. Unfortunately it is not going to be added in the short term, but just to learn more about the request, could you let me know if you integrated other software in your workflow to work with AutoCAD? If so, what do you use and what are they each used for?

Hello. Another vote for Autocad LiveSync plugin!
Many architectural firms use Autocad 3D, we too. Right now we are modelling our buildings in Autocad and using Lumion to visualise them real time. Even more, many firms are adopting BrycsCAD, because of the insane cost of Autocad subscription (Lumion has a plugin for BrycsCAD too). So please add Autocad / BricsCAD plugins, Thank you.
