PC performance under stress with D5 Render

Hey guys,

I apologize but I recently got this pc, I would like to ask you if it is normal for it to reach these temperatures in a scene I would say simple.
I am absolutely not an expert in hardware, I asked the company that provided me with the PC and they told me that it is perfectly normal. I also wanted an opinion of those who use D5 like you.
Thanks a lot and good luck to all.

D5 Render Version: 2.3.4.09
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080
Driver Version: 517.48

Hi there, for RTX 3080, the temperature 66° is normal, do not worry.
One thing I noticed is that the FPS is only 4.23, if you switch back to the D5 Render window, what will it be?
Can you navigate in this scene smoothly?

Also, you can run the D5 Benchmark tool to test and compare the result.

Hi Oliver,

thank you so much for the support.
I re-opened the rendering and the FPS is fixed at 60.00. I can’t tell you why it’s so low in that screen, but I can tell you that I move very smoothly in the scene.
I used the D5 Benchmark tool and I believe the result is correct based on my components.

Hi upshade33, glad to hear that, then there is no problem now except for the FPS calculation error. The temperature is Ok, do not worry. If you still have concerns, you can make sure the GPU is not overclocked, or install fans/Water Block for it…
