Nvidia Titan X not recognised

Hello D5 team,

I have installed D5 render on my workstation but I am failing the system requirements check. I understand from your links that the Nvidia Titan X does support ray tracing, but does not seem to be recognised by D5, despite running the latest drivers. I tried using the bypass tip shown on this forum but the ‘FirstOpen’ value does not remain at 1, reverting back to 0 each time. I appreciate the Titan X is not optimal but my company is keen to test D5 capabilities before investing. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi @gorlak

The Titan X is not fully supported by D5 due to limited DirectX Raytracing support. Newer versions block unsupported GPUs, so the bypass no longer works.

Titan X and older GTX cards don’t have official DXR support or complete hardware flags that D5 expects, so the system check fails. Recent updates have tightened these checks and removed many unofficial workarounds. Thank you for your understanding.
