My File Crashes at 99%

When rendering D5 crashes at 99% , cant render 2k or 4k scenes…any possible solutions ? have been facing this issue for a while…let me know…

Hi @calroc11

  • Does this problem occur in other files? Or is it file-specific? (If empty, demo, or very light scenes has also a similar issue it may be a bug that needs to be reported as soon as possible)

  • Can you normally create new scene files or run D5 demo files? If the problem only occurs with the current project or some of the scene files, it is likely that the file is too large and is consuming too much video memory, exceeding the load of your current device, and you need to lighten and optimize your file.

Please send us the following screenshots:

this happens on all projects…let me try the above steps and get back to you…
i use archicad and then sync the project to D5, often at times archicad also crashes when syncing…

Hi @calroc11

Alright, so this happens to projects even if they’re newly created D5 files. And regarding the ArchiCAD crash, can it be consistently replicated?

  • If you can also record a screen-recording that would also be helpful.

Hi @calroc11

Have you noticed when this issue started? We’re receiving a lot of feedback from users about crashes, and they all have 610.47 GPU drivers.

  • If you’ve experienced this after updating your drivers, please revert to the previous version.
  • Send us your log files
    • If you can also record a screen-recording that would also be helpful.

Hi Clov,

I have been facing this issue since the past 6 months or so, because of these crashes i dont use D5 often as its painful to re-work and constantly restart D5. As an example when i am working on D5 it would crash all the time after every 5-10 min, as an average atleast 10-20 times…so i have to work fast between the crashes and render low res output…

Hi @calroc11

Please click “Collect Logs.” It is a process, and if it is done, your file explorer will open to where the zipped logs are located.

D5- LOGS

Hi @calroc11

Thanks for sending your logs.

Please do the following:

  1. Completely Reinstall D5 Render. You may uninstall it first, then install using this link: Download Package
  2. Revert back to a previous NVIDIA Driver Version, you may either choose to revert to these versions:

Let me know if the issue persists even after doing these suggestions.

Hi @calroc11

Can you please confirm if the suggested steps solved the issue or if the issue persisted?
