No, Im not using the 2.6 version, I think its the version before that, an update popup for 2.6 keeps showing up though.
Did you turn on VPN or firewall? please try to keep them off and restart D5, it seems like an occasional bug.
vpn is not turned, I work on my office network, there is another system with the same version of d5 installed and that doesnt seem to have any problems
