Low Gpu Usage

Good evening.
The d5 render is only giving 20 to 28 fps. Because the program is using only 30% of the graphics card.

I have an Rtx 3080.
I am not taking full advantage of the program. You should use 100% gpu. And not just 30%

Hi there,

Did you use Windows default GPU monitor panel or dedicated software like GPU-Z? The default one may not sure accurate GPU loads as we’ve experienced before.

I’ve the same problem. This is my setting:

  • GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti
  • CPU AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor 3.70 GHz
  • RAM 64 Gb
    Any advices?

Hello, how is the rendering speed? If the speed is normal, then do not worry about the GPU usage, because Windows Task manager’s monitoring is not very accurate.
You can use GPU-Z to check the GPU usage. :blush:

Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately the rendering speed is very slow even in 2k.
I usually do quite simple scenes, it could slow down the grass in 3d and the trees placed around the building. But reading on the forum I see that usually we talk about a few seconds to render in 2k

Hello, sorry to hear that, could you please let us know how long it will take if you render a 2k photo on your computer with D5 Render? You can use both your own scene files and the demo scenes. I think normally it should take several minutes.

I tried to do a test with the demo scenes, the timing is very fast, I suppose at this point my problem is the complexity of my scene, many trees and objects.
