Local Library Issues

**D5 Render Version: 2.8
**Graphics Card: RTX 3090
**Driver Version: Studio Driver 560.94
**Issue Description:
Starting with no apparent correlation to any update of software ( windows , d5) or driver , all of the sudden I cannot update the name of the materials stored in the local library , nor the thumbnail . I can rename just fine and the name is shown corectly imediatly after but then after I close the library window and re-open the name is the one before renaming. In the case of the local material thumbnail I can select the new image , it sometimes seems to create a small black screen but then it doesnt register and everything is as before. All of this worked just fine last week or so .

My local library has about 100 GB of data and in stored on a network drive.
Please let me know If this is something at fault with my system or not.
Thank you !!!

**Steps to Reproduce (optional): add a new material in the local library > access the local library > try to rename the material or change the thumnail picture > close and re-open and check if the changes have registered

Hi there; I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Can you check if you have administrator rights to the file location of your D5 Local Library? I tried to replicate the environment where the error occurred through your instructions, and there seems to be no problem. Nevertheless, I am very much willing to assist you further thank you~

Thank you very much for the follow-up ! Yes I do have all the program permissions as well as admin rights to the folder. Cannot find a solution. Like I mentioned , there was no update or change done to the system to cause such issues.

Hi there; I apologise for the inconvenience. You mentioned, “My local library has about 100 GB of data stored on a network drive.” By network drive, you mean the folder where it is located is a local driver shared through LAN, right?
