LiveSync objects and model misaligned after reopening project (Archicad)

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with D5 LiveSync and Archicad.

After reopening my D5 project, the Archicad model and the objects placed directly in D5 (plants, people, assets, etc.) are no longer aligned. They appear in different positions relative to each other, as if their coordinate systems have shifted.

The problem started recently — everything was working correctly before. I did not intentionally change the project origin, survey point, or relocate the project in Archicad.

I have already tried:

  • Restarting both Archicad and D5
  • Using “Add to Local”
  • Switching to Non-Live Sync mode
  • Resetting pivot
  • Manually repositioning the model

However, after reopening the project, D5 assets are still offset relative to the Archicad model.

Could this be related to a LiveSync origin or world coordinate issue?
Is there a way to permanently lock the sync pivot or prevent D5 from recalculating the model position?

Thank you for your help.

Hi @seensoo

Thank you for the detailed explanation, and apologies for the inconvenience caused. To better understand what’s happening, could you please share a screenshot showing how the model looks inside Archicad and how the same model and D5 assets look inside D5.

Looking forward to your response.
