Issue Description: light source fades to pitch black after placement.
Screenshots/Videos Description:
Steps to Reproduce (optional):

hi doing some basic test…i ran into lighting problem…or perhaps i just dont know whats happening…

so i made a empty room in sketchup… did a livesync. just to test out artificial lightings ie; point light, strip, rec, etc.

so everytime i place 1 light source inside the room the room gets lit - up! which is fine…
but after few seconds it will start to fade out to complete pitch black… as shown in my screencapture…

when i try to edit parameters of this light (rectangular) for this case…it will lit-up again bright then after that will fade out to black no light source again even tho i have the light source…

still in the learning curve so forgive me…

thank u in advance guys.

Hi @xrowdac2,

Just to confirm, did you turn on the ‘Auto Exposure’? In closed environments with dim or insufficient light, Auto Exposure will automatically adjust the brightness of the light source.

i left it in AUTO (switch ON) did not touch it…

i also tried other types of lightsource rectangle after placement it lits up…properly then few seconds later it dimmed down to pitch black… again…

Try to put light near to the wall or input bigger value in Attenuation Raduis

hi, try to turn it off and use artificial light to brighten up the environment. Will it be better?

thanks guys… have tried still no luck… i hope a moderator from this forum chimes in… for assistance

Hello! Could you please show me your effect and environment parameter? BTW, is it convenient for you to show us a record video of your issue?
