Internet disconnection middle of rendering video ... this is SO STUPID!

Hello everyone,

Sorry for the language, but this is going to get frustrating,
I see many topics about this, and the D5 team does not care.

This image above is my 5th attempt to get a preview of a 60-second video (which the preview only, took about 20 minutes to render) and every time because of a moment of disconnection it gives me this output!! I am wondering how I can shoot the main render which probably takes hours to render and of course, I will have a couple of disconnections

For more information, I have a pretty good internet, I use a VPN which is also a pretty decent one, so generally I can say my connection is pretty good but some disconnections happen now and then.

The point is it is not acceptable to lose a long rendering time because of a simple disconnection!

Sorry for the aggressive language, I am really upset now

Hi. I apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused and understand your frustration.

  • We recommend you have a stable connection when rendering since this might cause your account to be logged out, thus displaying a watermark on the assets. Please try to restart your router and see if there are any differences.

  • Have you tried connecting to other networks to see if there are any network interruptions while rendering these images?

  • Does anyone else know your D5 account and password? Currently, only one device can be online at a time with a D5 account. If another user logs in, you will automatically be logged out.

  • Has this issue occurred before?

Thank you.

With all due respect, I am not looking for network connection troubleshooting.
I know how to take care of my network, my point is disconnection is a pretty common issue everywhere. Imagine it only happens once a week! but exactly when you are on a deadline and shooting your final video render. This tiny disconnection should not fail the process.

What I am requesting is pretty simple, It shouldn’t be difficult to set assets to “pro” for a 24-hour period when they are set in a scene(after last login-logout). this is a win-win. You can make sure no one is overusing an account by using pro assets after the account experiment(only 24 hours if it happens). Also, you can make us happy by not getting stuck in this failed cycle of watermarked videos.

This is an important matter for users who do not have the best internet in the world including more than 30-40 percent of users.

Hi, I apologize for misunderstanding your issue. I have conveyed this matter to my team so we may be able to take action—that is a much more forgiving outcome than having all of the assets appear with watermarks, even with the slightest network interruption or instability while the rendering process is ongoing. I will update you regarding this matter as soon as possible. Again, I apologize for the great inconvenience this has caused you.

Thank you for your understanding.

this is very serious drawback and concern in D5. there is no point to check authenticity of user every second. like

this is a fact, D5 team have to take in consideration.
this issue is faced by many users, and this thing is very disappointing and make bad image when user having close deadline, and hours of render become garbage just bcoz of slight internet disconnection.
please look this topic seriously.
