Inaccurate light / weird shaped light and shadows / Interior

D5 Render Version: 2
RTX 2070
Driver Version:
**Issue Description:

Hi, I am testing some interior setups and a problem occured with lighting. I am using HDRI ± rectang. light beyond the window (which is not causing the problem).

On the 1st picture there is a very weirdly shaped light from the emissive material. The lamp is round so the light should be also, but it´s acting like a box instead.

On the 2nd picture there is a weird light over the window which is not caused by the emissive lamps neither by the rectangular light which is placed behind the window ( i tried to delete it and it didn´t solve the problem, also tried switching the lamps off of course, none of it helped). I think this is some bug caused by the sun/hdri system?

If you got any ideas on how to improve I´ll be glad. Thank you.

Hello, about the first issue, maybe you could check your video driver version. The issue is often caused by some old Nvidia video drivers. Please upgrade to 496 or 497, or 471.68, then see the result.

Second, did you turn on Cast shadow for those emissive materials? Maybe the exposure is too high? you may need to exclude the lights in the room one by one to find the issue cause. Also, you could send it to support@d5techs.com for troubleshooting. From the image, I guess the shadows are from some specific light objects.
