I recently installed the new update of D5 Render, but it keeps crashing on my system. I’d like to uninstall this latest version and revert back to the previous stable one. Can anyone guide me on how to do this properly? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.
I apologize for the inconvenience. May I know more about the crash issue that you are currently experiencing? Does this occur to all of your projects, or is it file-specific?
Thank you for your response. The crash happens specifically when I try to sync my D5 Rendered file with my Archicad file. As soon as I initiate the sync, my laptop shuts down automatically — which has never happened before. Because of this, I’m unable to provide a screenshot or error message. I’ll also try the suggested solution and see if it helps.
Additionally, do you have any suggestions on which previous version of D5 Render I should install that would be more stable for this workflow? I’d really appreciate your recommendation. Thanks again for your assistance!
Thank you for these screenshots. Based on the images you have provided, it seems that your device is utilizing your integrated GPU instead of your Dedicated GPU (RTX 3060), which should not be the case since D5 Render is GPU-intensive.
Please try to disable your integrated GPU, then proceed to enable D5 Livesync in your Archicad file
It might also be beneficial for you to update your drivers.
If D5 is using an excessive amount of GPU in your device, it should only crash the software, and by no means should make your device restart. In your case, you may want to check if your Windows System is updated or perhaps your charger is providing enough power or is not malfunctioning.
