Grass.is not working properly

I have tried to paint some grasses on a surface of the model I created and it was very hard to make the grass appear, actually it just appeared once and I couldn’t paint it any more. The tool just didn’t worked. I selected the grass, set the painting configurations I wanted and it didn’t work.
