Welcome to D5 forum, and I apologize for having this kind of issue. What device you are using, a laptop or a PC? Are you having trouble with this particular grey area? See the attached photo for reference
It indicates that you need to upgrade it. D5 has a minimum requirement of at least an Nvidia GTX 1060, Intel Arc 3, and AMD RX 6400. You can refer to the link for your system reference System Requirements for D5 Render | User Manual.
