Geometry not importing during Revit livesync

I have a revit 2025 file consisting of a building, and another linked Revit 2025 model of the site. When i open this file in D5 using the sync button, the linked site file shows, but the building does not. The file is in the d5 project, but is invisible and when i focus on it the screen goes black. i have commented on a previous thread to someone who had the same issue. Is there a possible fix for this?

HI @jemkeen

Can you send us some screenshot?

Please also check the following:

  • The X, Y, Z values of your model, the closer it is to the origin, the better. If it is far, try to bring it closer if the black screen persists.
  • There is also a known issue that will be fixed in the hotfix version, for reference, this is the forum link of the same issue: HDR Sky turning black. You can check if this is exactly the same problem.

unfortunately the project i am working on is under an Non disclosure agreement, so I won’t be able to share any screenshots. the location of the invisible geometry is -843128, 552818, -2.643377129223792e+37. the size is also 1313744, 1894364, 2.6433767644047626e+37. I feel like this has something to do with the issue?

I read through this and found a fix. I deleted the decals in my revit file and it now imports all the geometry. I don’t know if this is a bug or something that has to be done.

Hi @jemkeen

The decal issue was fixed in Revit’s latest plug-in version. And yes, the abnormal X, Y, and Z values are caused by decals when using the old plug-in version. You may try installing the new one from our official website or from D5 Launcher.
