Does section tool don't allow sun/exterior light to enter the sectioned areas?

Tries the new section tool. both in plan section and vertical section.

on both trials the sectioned areas are shaded by the sun as if the whole model exist. the sun/exterior envireonment light doesn’t effect the sectioned areas.

This make the section tool pretty redundant :frowning:

Sorry for that, we will impove it, now it can be affected by rain and snow.

It would be noice to have the option to choose both.

@Bruce.W Any info on this update? It would be very helpful to render true plans (orthographic/top view) instead of a 3d perspective. Currently it’s impossible to render architectural presentation plans with the tool. Thank you.
