When accessing my SketchUp 2023 account, I received a message prompting me to update to the 2024 version. However, I tried to use D5 render with the 2024 version and it didn’t work.
Upon visiting the website, I noticed that D5 is compatible with the 2023 version. Is that correct?

Thanks for your interest and support. The current version of SketchUp live sync does not support SketchUp 24 yet, but we will release support for SU2024 in the close days, please be patient.

I had to update the Sketchup program to version 2024, but I am having problems integrating with D5.
Is it not showing D5 in SU? Or is it something else? It would be great if you could show us a video or screenshot about this problem.

Hello. Are you currently unable to update from the client? What are the details of the situation? Is the download not working or the installation failed? Or can’t find the plugin in SU after successful installation?
If you can’t update from the client, can you update from the official website download link?
If you have changed the default installation path during installation, please try to install in the default path to check if the installation is successful.
i am facing issues after th update and the d5 gets close after few seconds
Are you referring to the fact that you successfully installed the plugin, but after using it, it causes D5 to flash back? If it’s convenient, you could try rolling back to the 2023 version of the plugin to check if the issue still occurs. The difference between the new plugin and the previous one is only the added support for SU 2024, so if you don’t need to use SU 2024 for now, you can continue to use the previous plugin.
You can as well try uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling it. Also, check if there is a problem with the software crashing if you just use D5 alone without enabling the sync plugin.
