D5 Showing wrong Proportion on 2 point Perspective

**D5 Render Version:2.2.1.0319
**Graphics Card:RTX 2080Ti
**Driver Version:516.59
**Issue Description: The building proportion appears distorted in D5 Render. The building looks short and fat.
**Screenshots/Videos Description: On the right is how it should be, it’s the way shown in Rhino. On the left, the building proportion is short and fat.

Steps to Reproduce (optional):

Hi, yes, for now it is a limitation and we will optimize our two-point perspective view in future.
You can turn off the live sync of camera, then adjust the camera position and FOV manually.

Thanks,
Oliver

The left and the right windows are not synced in the attached picture. Live sync is turned off. The camera position and FOV have been adjusted manually. However, D5 shows a distorted representation of the building, short and fat. Showing a not accurate representation of proportion of a building is a big problem, isn’t it?
What can be done?

Hi, for now we do not have other workarounds. Maybe you can rotate the camera by 90°,
adjust the photo resolution then take a shot like this, a user told me this workaround.

Thanks for the reply and for the workaround suggestion Oliver. I have rotated the building 90 degrees as you mention in the previous post, but I am not able to find the desired result as you see in the attached picture. Is there anything I’m doing wrong?

yeah, now you can adjust the image output resolution( the safe frame)

After the photo is rendered, rotate it back in post production software( or Windows Photo editor). I think the result should be better than the previous one.

But the problem is that as shown in the above picture, the horizontals are not horizontal…

Yeah, this may need our dev team to optimize this feature, sry :smiling_face_with_tear:
