I’m experiencing a GPU driver compatibility issue when launching D5 Render.
The app shows this message:
“Current GPU driver and system version are incompatible. Please downgrade GPU driver to 31.0.15.3161 or below, or upgrade system to Windows 10 v21H2 or higher.”**
My setup is already above the stated requirements:
Windows 11 version 24H2
GPU: NVIDIA RTX A1000 (6 GB VRAM)
Driver: 32.0.15.3737
CPU: Intel Core i7-13800H
RAM: 32 GB
Since Windows 11 24H2 > 21H2, it seems D5 Render doesn’t yet support the newer NVIDIA 32.xx driver branch or Windows 24H2 build.
Downgrading my driver isn’t ideal because it could affect other creative apps I use.
Could you please confirm if a patch or driver compatibility update is planned?
I’m happy to share logs zziplog.zip (1.2 MB)
if needed.
New versions of GPU Drivers are supported. The error prompt may be referring to your Windows System Version, you may need to update it to Windows 10 v21h2 or higher.
Exactly the same problem here : Win11 uptodate, NVIDIA GeForce GTX1650 latest driver installed and D5 displays this annoying and disappointing message : "Current GPU driver and system version are incompatible. Please downgrade GPU driver to 31.0.15.31.00 (wtf ???) or below, or upgrade system to Windows 10v21H2 or highger (I have WIN 11 !!).
This needs patching ASAP, thanks a lot.
Hi @kissty_laureen, Apologies for the inconvenience. Your GPU model, NVIDIA GeForce GTX1650 does not meet the minimum requirement for running D5. We recommend upgrading your hardware to meet the requirements for running D5. Please refer to the link below for more information on system requirement for D5.
