D5 render - Nvidia control panel

"Hello everyone,
For the past few weeks, D5 Render has not been working properly. The problems started after the last Nvidia driver updates. After several attempts, I realized that by uninstalling all the drivers and files (using DDU Driver Uninstaller), and then reinstalling the Nvidia drivers without the Nvidia Control Panel, everything works fine again. Unfortunately, Windows 11 always ends up automatically installing the Control Panel without my consent.
Before starting D5, a transparent square appears and never disappears. That’s how I know D5 is going to have bugs. Changing the window size causes a crash. There’s also significant lag and a huge drop in FPS as soon as the camera mode is activated…
I can’t find any solution regarding the permanent removal of the Control Panel or how to fix it.
Thank you to the team for all the hard work they’ve put in.

Hi @jonathan.dalphin

I apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused. Just to reconfirm, the significant lag and huge FPS Drop is evident in all of your files, right? Additionally,

  • Can you attach a screenshot of your system information?

  • VRAM Info - While trying to open D5 Render or opening a D5 File

  • Have you tried reverting to a previous version of your Graphics Driver? Or perhaps a clean reinstallation?

  • We’ve encountered a similar situation with a square or block appearing in the preview screen but it was a black box. It might be worth it if you try to disable the Reflex Flash Indicator and see if the box disappears on your window.
